WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for the
purchase of fire hydrants; and,
WHEREAS, Golden Triangle Pipe & Water Supply of Beaumont,
Texas submitted a bid in the approximate amount of $32,325.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Golden Triangle Pipe & Water Supply is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Golden Triangle Pipe & Water Supply in the
approximate amount of $32 ,325.00 be accepted by the City of Beaumont
and the City manager is hereby authorized to enter into a one ( 1 )
year contract with Golden Triangle Pipe & Water Supply for the
purchase of fire hydrants.
