WHEREAS, on April 27 , 1982 , the City of Beaumont awarded
Troy Dodson Construction Company a contract in the amount of
$2 ,877 ,277 .00 for the Dowlen Road TIP Project; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 to said contract has been
proposed decreasing the total cost by the sum of $11 ,980 .50 by
substituting a precast traffic rail for a cast in place traffic
rail;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change order No. 1 , in the amount of $11 ,980 .50 , to the contract
between the City of Beaumont and Troy Dodson Construction Company
decreasing the amount of the contract to $2 ,865,296 .50.
