R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a front
loading refuse truck ; and,
WHEREAS, Beaumont Truck and Trailer submitted a bid in
the amount of $80,763.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Beaumont Truck and Trailer is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Beaumont Truck and Trailer in the amount of
$80, 763. 00 for a front loading refuse truck be accepted by the City
of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to pay for
same upon acceptable delivery.
