WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of communi-
cations cable; and,
WHEREAS, King Wire of Dallas, Texas and Nunn Electric
Supply Company of Beaumont, Texas submitted bids in the amounts of
$6,433. 16 and $6 ,241.46 , respectively; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by King Wire & Cable and Nunn Electric Supply Company are
the lowest and best bids and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of King Wire & Cable in the amount of $6 ,433. 16 and
Nunn Electric Supply Company in the amount of $6 ,241 . 46 for the
purchase of communications cable be accepted by the City of
Beaumont, and the City manager is hereby authorized to pay for same
upon acceptable delivery.
