WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a
microfiche jacket reader and printer; and,
WHEREAS, Global Services, Inc. submitted a bid in the
amount of $2 ,195. 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Global Services, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Global Services, Inc. in the amount of $2 ,195. 00
for a microfiche jacket reader and printer be accepted by the City
of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to pay for
same.
