WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of radio
equipment for various departments; and,
WHEREAS, General Electric Company of Houston, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $65,472.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by General Electric Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of General Electric Company in the amount of
$65, 472.00 for radio equipment for various departments be accepted
by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized
to pay for same.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont
