R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on January 19 , 1982, the City of Beaumont awarded
a contract to E. R. Dupuis Concrete Company in the amount of
$529 ,707.00 for the Chinn Lane Project; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed at a cost of
$532, 792. 25 which is $3 ,085. 25 above the contract price due to a
requirement by the State Department of Highways that the water line
crossing their frontage roads be placed inside a casing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Chinn Lane Project is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
make final payment to E . R. Dupuis Concrete Company in the amount of
$28 ,746. 71.
