WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a copier
for the Water Utilities Department; and,
WHEREAS, National Copy Products submitted a bid in the
amount of $2 ,944.00 which includes a one ( 1 ) year maintenance
contract; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by National Copy Products is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of National Copy Products in the amount of $2 ,944.00
including a one ( 1 ) year maintenance contract for a copier to be
used by the Water Utilities Department be accepted by the City of
Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to pay for
same.
