R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of an
industrial grade washer for the Police Department Jail; and,
WHEREAS, Ford Commercial Sales, Inc. of Houston, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of X3 ,706.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Ford Commercial Sales, Inc. is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Ford Commercial Sales, Inc. in the amount of
$3,706.00 for an industrial grade washer for the Police Department
Jail be accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to pay for same upon acceptable delivery.
