WHEREAS, bids were received for the lease/purchase of
a copier for the Police Department, and,
WHEREAS, IBM submitted a bid in the amount of
$19, 230. 00 for such copier; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by IBM is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
enter into a lease agreement with IBM to lease, with an option
to purchase, a Series 3, Model 10 Copier for the sum of
$19, 230. 00.
