R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of two
thousand (2,000) tons of limestone base; and,
WHEREAS, Keown Supply Company submitted a bid in the
amount of $11. 40 per ton; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Keown Supply Company is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Keown Supply Company in the amount of $11. 40 per
ton for the purchase of 2,000 tons of limestone base be accepted
by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby authorized
to pay for same upon acceptable delivery .
