WHEREAS, bids were received for construction of a park
building in Babe Zaharias Park; and,
WHEREAS, Galaxy Building Corporation submitted a bid in the
amount of $90,925. 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Galaxy Building Corporation is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Galaxy Building Corporation is hereby accepted by the
City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Galaxy Building Corporation in the amount of
$90, 925. 00 for the construction of a park building in Babe Zaharias
Park.
