R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the renewal of a
maintenance contract for an IBM System 7 computer used in the Water
Reclamation Department; and,
WHEREAS, International Business Machines Corporation of
Beaumont, Texas submitted a bid in the amount of $7, 200.00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by International Business Machines Corporation is the
lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of International Business Machines Corporation is hereby
accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to execute a maintenance contract with International
Business Machines Corporation in the amount of $7, 200. 00
