R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for
the purchase of liquid polymer flocculant; and,
WHEREAS, Callaway Chemical Company of Georgia submitted
a bid in the amount of $. 73 per pound; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Callaway Chemical Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Callaway Chemical Company in the amount of $. 73
per pound is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with
Callaway Chemical Company for liquid polymer flocculant to be used
by the Water Reclamation Department for the sludge dewatering
press.
