WHEREAS, bids were received for the reroofing of the
Generator Building at the Water Treatment Plant; and,
WHEREAS, Shackelford Roofing Company submitted a bid in the
amount of $6, 400. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Shackelford Roofing Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Shackelford Roofing Company is hereby accepted by the
City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Shackelford Roofing Company in the amount of
$6, 400. 00 for the reroofing of the Generator Building at the Water
Treatment Plant.
