WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of three
(3) pedestrian bridges at Klein Park; and,
WHEREAS, J. R. Plake, Inc. submitted a bid in the amount of
$24,984. 60; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by J. R. Plake, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and should
be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of J. R. Plake, Inc. is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with J. R. Plake, Inc. in the amount of $24,984. 60 for the
construction of three (3) pedestrian bridges at Klein Park.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the day of 1982.
