R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on December 8 , 1981, the City of Beaumont entered
into a contract with C .F.W. Construction Company for construction of
Contract I - Sewage Treatment Plant, EPA Grant No. C-481254-04 in the
amount of $5,816,300, 00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 to said contract has been
proposed increasing the total cost by the sum of $9,450. 00 to provide
paved access and work area for removal of four (4) pumps and chlorine
disinfection units at chlorine contact chamber and to replace
deteriorated piping and concrete in the wall and floor of the
secondary sludge digester;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 3 , in the amount of $9,450. 00, to the contract
between the City of Beaumont and C . F.W. Construction Company
increasing the amount of the contract to $53834,682. 00.
