R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on September 15, 1982 , bids were received for
the purchase of a six (6) month supply of ready mix concrete;
and,
WHEREAS, Beaumont Ready Mix Concrete, Inc. , submitted
a bid in the amount of $54. 20 per cubic yard for a five-sack
(cement) mixture plus or minus $1. 95 a sack for different
mixtures and an add-on of $3. 00 per cubic yard for high early
cement; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Beaumont Ready Mix Concrete, Inc. is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Beaumont Ready Mix Concrete, Inc. in the amount
stated above for a six month supply of ready mix concrete is
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager
is hereby authorized to make payment for same upon acceptable
delivery.
