WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of an
hydraulic pipe puller for the Street Department; and,
WHEREAS, Sandvick Equipment submitted a bid in the
amount of $5, 197. 96; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by the Sandvick Equipment is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Sandvick Equipment in the amount of $5, 197. 96
for an hydraulic pipe puller be accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to pay for
same upon acceptable delivery.
