WHEREAS, bids were received for construction of 8600 feet
of 16" water main on the north side of College Street; and,
WHEREAS, Sabine Consolidated, Inc. , submitted a bid in the
amount of $227,950.00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Sabine Consolidated, Inc. , is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF .BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Sabine Consolidated, Inc. , is hereby accepted by the
City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute
a contract with Sabine Consolidated, Inc. , in the amount of
$227,950. 00 for the construction of 8600 feet of 16" water main on
the north side of College Street.
