WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of
curb on Pearl and Forsythe Streets adjacent to Julie Rogers
Theater; and,
WHEREAS, Trotti & Thompson, Inc. , of Beaumont, Texas,
submitted a bid in the amount of $2. 50 per lineal foot, not to
exceed $2 ,000. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Trotti & Thompson, Inc. , is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Trotti & Thompson, Inc. , in the amount of $2.50
per lineal foot, not to exceed $2,000. 00 is hereby accepted by
the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized
to pay for same upon completion.
