R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the Lease purchase of
an optical card reader for use in the Water Utilities
Department; and,
WHEREAS, Optical Business Machines, Inc. , submitted a
bid in the amount of $99,2450. 00 providing for a monthly lease
amount of $3,153. 82 including maintenance; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Optical Business Machines, Inc. , is the lowest
and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Optical Business Machines, Inc. , be accepted by
the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized
to execute a lease purchase agreement with Optical Business
Machines, Inc. in the amount of $3,153. 82 per month for an
optical card reader.
