WHEREAS, on May 18, 1982, the City of Beaumont adopted
Resolution 82-182 awarding a contract for construction of the Service
Center to Nash Construction Company in the amount of $2,543,000. 00;
and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 3 to said contract has been
proposed increasing the total cost by the sum of $1 ,189.00 to revise
the design for better utilization of space;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 3, in the amount of $1 ,189.00, to the contract
between the City of Beaumont and Nash Construction Company increasing
the amount of the contract from $2 ,544,250.00 to $2 ,545,439. 00.
