R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the construction of
drainage improvements on Fannett Road and Ethel Street; and,
WHEREAS, Mar-Len, Inc. , submitted a bid in the amount of
$469,107. 90,- and.,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Mar-Len, Inc. , is the lowest and best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Mar-Len, Inc. , is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with Mar-Len, Inc. , in the amount of $4693107- 90 for the
construction of drainage improvements on Fannett Road and Ethel
Street.
