WHEREAS, bids were received for construction of the 1982
Street Rehabilitation Program; and,
WHEREAS, Russ Miller Construction Company , Inc. , submitted
a bid in the amount of $454,095. 09; and,
WHEREAS., the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Russ Miller Construction Company is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted; and,
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Russ Miller Construction Company is hereby accepted
by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Russ Miller Construction Company in the
amount of $454,,095-09 for the construction of the 1982 street
rehabilitation program.
