WHEREAS, the State of Texas, for itself and as trustee
for the City of Beaumont and Beaumont Independent School District,
acquired property located within its taxing jurisdiction resulting
from delinquent tax suit sales in accordance with Article 7345b ,
V.A.T. S. , and advertised for public invitation for sealed bids to
sell this property , and desires to accept the following highest
bid for the hereinbelow listed property:
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City 14anager be, and he is hereby authorized, for and on
behalf of the City of Beaumont, to execute a Quitclaim Deed to
Leon Gibbs in exchange for $6,500. 00, conveying all right, title
and interest held by the City of Beaumont in . 50 acres, Abstract
5 , D. Brown Survey , Tract 10—Q.
