WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of five
hundred (500) manhole extension rings; and,
WHEREAS, the Rohan Company of Houston, Texas submitted
a bid in the amount of $22,250- 00; and.,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by the Rohan Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of the Rohan Company in the amount of $22,250- 00
for 500 manhole extension rings be accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to pay for
same upon acceptable delivery.
