WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of computer
equipment and word processing equipment; and,
WHEREAS., Datapoint Corporation of Houston, Texas
submitted a bid in the amount of $41,081. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Datapoint Corporation is the lowest and best best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Datapoint Corporation in the amount of $41,081.00
for the purchase of computer equipment and word processing
equipment is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to make payment for same upon
acceptable delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
