R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of
lights, bases and ballast kits used in lighting area freeways;
and,
WHEREAS, Graybar Electric submitted a bid in the
following amounts:
Mercury Vapor Luminaires - $158.00/fixture
15" Bases - $319.00/base
12" Bases - $171.00/base
Ballasts - $ 46. 00/base
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Graybar Electric is the lowest and best bid
meeting; specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMOhT:
THAT the bid of Graybar Electric for the purchase of lights,
bases and ballast kits used in lighting area freeways in the
amounts stated above be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the
City Manager is hereby authorized to pay for same upon
acceptable delivery.
