WHEREAS, on April 6, 1982, the City of Beaumont entered
into a contract with Jay Garth, Inc. , in the amount of $51,613. 00
for the Warehouse and Extension of the Water Utilities Service
Center Project; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed at a cost of
$52,069. 00 which is $456.00 above the contract price because of
variations in actual quantities used;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Warehouse and Extension of the Water Utilities Service
Center Project is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the
City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to make final payment
to Jay Garth, Inc. in the amount of $52,069. 00.
