R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on July 28, 1982, bids were received for a
three (3) month supply of pit sand for the landfill,
approximately 25,000 cubic yards; and,
WHEREAS, L. 0. Block Sand Pit of Kirbyville submitted
a bid in the amount of $1 . 49 per cubic yard; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by L. 0. Block Sand Pit is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of L. 0. Block Sand Pit for approximately 25,000
cubic yards of pit sand for the landfill in the amount of $1 . 49
per cubic yard be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager is hereby authorized to pay for same upon acceptable
delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont
