WHEREAS, bids were received for the sale of two (2)
reserve pumpers; and,
WHEREAS, Anahuac Volunteer Fire Department submitted a
bid in the amount of $8,100. 15 for Engine #5 and Cloutierville,
LA Volunteer Fire Department submitted a bid in the amount of
$3, 810. 10 for Engine #3; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bids submitted by Anahuac Volunteer Fire Department and
Cloutierville, LA Volunteer Fire Department are the best bids
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Anahuac Volunteer Fire Department and
Cloutierville, LA Volunteer Fire Department in the amounts of
$8,100. 15 for Engine #5 and $3,810. 10 for Engine .#3,
respectively, be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City
Manager and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute all
title documents necessary to convey said pumpers,
