R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, on May 25, 1982, the City of Beaumont awarded
a bid to Chemco Sales Corporation for 21,600 feet of plastic
water pipe in the amount of $3,718. 00; and,
WHEREAS, Chemco Sales Corporation has refused to
perform in accordance with the terms of its bid; and,
WHEREAS, the next low bidder was S.P. I. Municipal
Supply in the amount of $4,450-00;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the low bid of S.P. I. Municipal Supply in the amount of
$4,450- 00 is hereby accepted and the City Manager is authorized
to pay for same upon acceptable delivery
