WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a
blood chemistry system for the Health Department; and,
WHEREAS, Curtin Matheson Scientific submitted a bid in
the amount of $3,659. 86; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Curtin Matheson Scientific is the best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Curtin Matheson Scientific in the amount of
$3,659. 86 for the purchase of a blood chemistry system be
accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to pay for same upon acceptable delivery.
