WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of six
(6) 8" flanged plug valves and one (1 ) 41' flanged plug valve;
and,
WHEREAS, Dresser Manufacturing submitted a bid in the
amount of $2,336. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Dresser Manufacturing is the lowest and best
bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Dresser Manufacturing in the amount of $2,336. 00
be accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to pay for same upon acceptable delivery.
