R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on May 18 , 1982, the City of Beaumont adopted
Resolution 82-182 awarding a contract for construction of the Service
Center to Nash Construction Company in the amount of $2 ,543,000. 00;
and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 to said contract has been
proposed increasing the total cost by the sum of $1 ,250. 00 to
increase the number of soil compaction tests;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 , in the amount of $1 ,250. 00, to the contract
between the City of Beaumont and Nash Construction Company increasing
the amount of the contract from $2,543,000. 00 to $2,544,250. 00.
