WHEREAS, bids were received for hydraulic seeding of the
ten sports fields at Babe Zaharias Park; and,
WHEREAS, Gulf Coast Hudro-Turf submitted a bid in the
amount of $14,300. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Gulf Coast Hydro-Turf is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Gulf Coast Hydro-Turf is hereby accepted by the City
of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute a
contract with Gulf Coast Hydro-Turf in the amount of $14,300. 00 for
hydraulic seeding of the ten sports fields at Babe Zaharias Park.
