WHEREAS, on December 8, 1981, the City of Beaumont
entered into a contract with C. F. W. Construction Company for
construction of Contract I - Sewage Treatment Plant, Grant No.
C-481254-04, in the amount of $5,816,300. 00; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 2 in the amount of $6,450. 00
has been recommended to provide for replacement of 150 feet of
deteriorated 18" concrete pipe with 18" PVC pipe;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 2 to the contract with C. F. W. Construction
Company in the amount of $6,450. 00 thereby increasing the contract
amount to $5,825,232. 00.
