R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for clearing the waterworks
canal (Contract No. 2 ) ; and,
WHEREAS, Roy V. Greer, Sr. & Greer Construction Co. , Inc.
submitted a bid in the amount of $1242394. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Roy V. Greer, Sr. & Greer Construction Co. , Inc. is the
lowest and best bid and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Roy V . Greer, Sr. & Greer Construction Co. , Inc. is
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is
hereby authorized to execute a contract with Roy V. Greer, Sr. &
Greer Construction Co. , Inc. in the amount of $124,394. 00 for
clearing the waterworks canal.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
the day of 1932.
