WHEREAS, bids were received for the 1982 Street
Rehabilitation Program, Project I; and,
WHEREAS, Troy Dodson Construction Co. , Inc. submitted a bid
in the amount of $538,976. 40; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Troy Dodson Construction Co. , Inc. is the lowest and
best bid and should be accepted;
NOW., THEREFORE, BE IT' RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Troy Dodson Construction Co. , Inc. is hereby accepted
by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute a contract with Troy Dodson Construction Co. , Inc. in the
amount of $538,976. 40 for the 1982 Street Rehabilitation Program,
Project I .
