WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for
the purchase of aluminum sulfate to be used in the water
production plant for necessary water treatment; and,
WHEREAS, Stauffer Chemical Company submitted a bid in
the amount of $237. 20/ton; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Stauffer Chemical Company is the best bid
meeting the specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Stauffer Chemical Company for a one (1 ) year
contract for aluminum sulfate in the amount of $237. 20/ton is
hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont.
