R E S 0 L U T 1 0 N
WHEREAS, on November 3, 1981, the City of Beaumont
entered into a contract with Sabine Consolidated for sanitary
sewer improvements, Contract 12B, Segment 42 Interceptor; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with the contract; and.,
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Change Order No. 1
adjusting the final contract quantities with as-built quantities
be approved;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the City Manager be, and is hereby, authorized to execute
Change Order No. 1 to the contract with Sabine Consolidated
thereby decreasing the contract amount from $1133780. 00 to
$107,626. 00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Contract 128, Segment 42
Interceptor., is hereby accepted and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to make final payment in the amount of $3,481- 30 to
Sabine Consolidated for the construction of said project.
