WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of a copier
under a rental-purchase contract; and,
WHEREAS, Office Development Systems, Inc. of Beaumont
submitted a bid for a three-year lease-purchase agreement in the
amount of $300. 20/month plus a $1 ,195. 00/year for maintenance;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Office Development Systems , Inc. is the lowest and
best bid meeting the specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Office Development Systems , Inc. is hereby accepted
by the City of Beaumont and the City Manager is hereby authorized
to execute a three-year lease-purchase contract with Office
Development Systems, Inc. for a Panasonic 301 OR copier in the
amount of $300. 20/month plus a $15195. 00/year for maintenance.
