R E S 0 L U T 1 0 R
WHEREAS, in April of 1980, by Resolution 80-125, a
Transit Advisory Committee was established for the City of
Beaumont; and,
WHEREAS, the Transit Advisory Committee established was
composed of nine (9) members with the chairman and vice-chairman
being elected by the committee for one-year terms;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT' RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the Transit Advisory Committee be expanded from nine (9) to
ten (10) members to be selected from the community at large and
appointed by the City Council for alternating two-year terms.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the committee chairman be
appointed by the City Council for a term of two (2) years.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
