WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing labor and
materials for the installation of an 8-foot fence around the
basketball court at Gilbert Park; and.,
WHEREAS, Hurricane Fence Company submitted a bid in the
amount of $2,121. 60; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Hurricane Fence Company is the lowest and best bid
and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Hurricane Fence Company in the amount of $2,121. 60
for furnishing labor and materials for the installation of an
8-foot fence around the basketball court at Gilbert Park is hereby
accepted by the City of Beaumont, and the City Manager is hereby
authorized to make payment for same upon acceptable installation.
