WHEREAS, bids were received for an annual contract for
the purchase of hot mix cold laid asphaltic concrete to be used
for street patching; and,
WHEREAS, Keown Supply of Beaumont submitted a bid in
the amount of $28. 00/ton F.O. B. plant; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the
bid submitted by Keown Supply is the best bid and should be
accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Keown Supply for a one (1) year contract for hot
mix cold laid asphaltic concrete in the amount of $28. 00/ton
F.O. B. plant is hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont.
