WHEREAS, bids were received for furnishing solid contact
clarification equipment for expansion of the main water plant;
and,
WHEREAS, Infilco Degremont, Inc. of Richmond, Virginia
submitted a bid in the amount of $684,975. 00; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bid
submitted by Infilco Degremont, Inc. is the lowest and best bid and
should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bid of Infilco Degremont, Inc. is hereby accepted by the
City of Beaumont, subject to execution by Infilco Degremont, Inc.
of a contract approved by the City Attorney, and the City Manager
is hereby authorized to execute a contract with Infilco Degremont,
Inc. in. the amount of $684,975. 00 for furnishing solid contact
clarification equipment for expansion of the main water plant.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
