R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, on January 19, 1982, the City Council adopted
Resolution 82-21 awarding a contract to Olshan Demolition Company
for the demolition of a 1913 settling basin building, foundation,
sidewalks and fence located at the water treatment plant in the
amount of $44,444. 00 ; and,
WHEREAS, the project has been completed in accordance
with the plans and specifications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the demolition of the 1913 settling basin building,
foundation, sidewalks and fence is hereby accepted by the City of
Beaumont and the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized to
make final payment to Olshan Demolition Company in the amount of
$44,444. 00.
