HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 82-202 R E S 0 L U 11 1 0 N WHEREAS, agreements have been negotiated for the purchase of two parcels of property needed for Phelan Boulevard Extension Project being more fully described on Exhibits "All and "B" attached hereto for their respective appraised values.; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF BEAUMONT: THAT the purchase of the following parcels are hereby authorized: Parcel 10: 8,430 square feet out of City Tax Tract 75, Plat SP-6, C. Williams League Owners : E. D. Langford Willa D. Langford Value: $15,000. 00 Parcel 22: 19,800 square feet out of City Tax Tracts 26 and 27, Plat SP-4, C. Williams League Owners : Alfred B. D. LANGFORD) BEING a 0. 194 acre tract of land in the C. Williams Survey, Abstract No . 59 in Beaumont, Jefferson County, Texas and beina a part of that certain tract of land described in deed from Leah Smith Berry to E. D. Langford dated February 2.2, 1964 and recorded in Vol . 1376 Page 328 of the Deed Records of Jefferson County,Texas and said 0.194 acre tract of land being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows : BEGINNING at a 3/8 inch steel rod found at the intersection of the existing North right-of-way line of Calder Avenue and the West right-of-way line of Berry Road and locating the Southeast corner of said E. D. Langford tract of land; THENCE North 75 degrees 43 minutes 34 seconds West along the existing North right-of-way line of said Calder Avenue a distance of 157.65 feet to a 112 inch steel rod found at the Southwest corner of said E. D.
