R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, bids were received for the purchase of four (4)
air compressors; and,
WHEREAS, the below-listed manufacturers submitted the
following:
Delta Pneumatics :

1 - 20 H.P. Air Compressor $ 4,007.00
1 - 15 H. P. Air Compressor 3,524.00
1 - 10 H.P. Air Compressor 2 418.00

and,
Air Power, Inc. :
1 - 100 H.P. Air Compressor $17,685. 00
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the bids
submitted by Delta Pneumatics and Air Power, Inc. , are the lowest
and best bids meeting specifications and should be accepted;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEAUMONT:
THAT the bids of Delta Pneumatics in the amount of $9,949.00 and
the bid of Air Power, Inc. , in the amount of $17,,685- 00 for air
compressors are hereby accepted by the City of Beaumont and the
City Manager is hereby authorized to make payment for same upon
acceptable delivery.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL of the City of Beaumont this
